Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the ChipSensei iOS app and the website chipsensei.app, published by Payments in the channel LTD, 14 - 18 Heddon Street, London, W1B 4DA, England (“we”, “us”). By using them you agree to these terms.
What the app does
ChipSensei generates suggested PC and laptop component profiles based on the goal, budget and other answers you provide, using an AI model. Suggestions describe components by class and standards (for example “ATX motherboard, AM5, DDR5”); they do not name specific brands or models.
AI recommendations — no guarantees
All recommendations, compatibility checks, power estimates and explanations are produced by an AI model and are provided “as is”, for informational purposes only. They may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Component availability, specifications and prices change constantly and are not known to the app. You are solely responsible for verifying compatibility, specifications, prices and suitability before purchasing or assembling anything. We are not liable for any purchase decision, damage to hardware, data loss or other loss arising from following a recommendation.
Fair use and daily limit
To keep the service available to everyone, the number of AI requests per device per day is limited. The limit resets at midnight UTC. Automated access, scraping or attempts to bypass the limit are not permitted.
Amazon links and affiliate disclosure
“Find on Amazon” opens an Amazon.com search page in your browser. Purchases are made with Amazon under Amazon’s own terms; we are not a party to those transactions. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We do not choose or endorse specific products that appear in Amazon search results.
Your content
You may enter free-text notes and a description of your current parts. Do not enter personal data or content you do not have the right to share. We may filter or reject content that is abusive or unrelated to PC hardware.
Availability and changes
The app and the service are provided free of charge and may change, pause or stop at any time without notice. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means acceptance.
Intellectual property
The app, its name, icon and design are our property. Amazon is a trademark of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Other names mentioned are trademarks of their respective owners; the app deliberately avoids naming them in recommendations.
